5 viewsI entered 3 cartoons in an art exhibit for Kau in 2007, and won third place for being innovative and bringing new ideas to the exhibit (or something to that effect). I drew a cartoon in a letter to a friend about the exhibit, so I decided to post it here for everyone else to see too. I'll scan and post my entries later. That, my viewer, is Leigh, or Mommy as most of the gang calls her, taking credit for something she didn't do ; )

1 viewsThis really happened to an inspector that came out from Kona to inspect our neighbors house! I was busy caulking underneath the roof when this happened. Thankfully his car was turned off, so it didn't run out of gas. He had to call his supervisor to bring a spare key to unlock the car (it was a state vehicle). I'm not sure what the penalty was because I finished the drawing just as he drove off. I should have told him I was drawing something for him, but I thought 1 hour and 30 minutes would be plenty of time to finish it before his supervisor arrived. Well, live and learn.Jul 14, 2008
