2008 Make My Day Hawaii contest

I entered this cartoon into the 2008 "Make My Day Hawaii" contest held in Ocean View. It was mostly for modeling, but I went ahead and entered the talent portion of the contest with the idea I probably wasn't going to win anyway. I was more interested in the recognition my work would receive. So it was no surprise when I didn't win. When Holly got older, it hurt for her to go up and down the stairs herself. She would sit at the stairs and bark until one of us, usually me, carried her where she wanted to go. When my Mom was doing the chores, this drove me nuts because she would go up and down the stairs all the time, and of course Holly wanted to follow. I sometimes dreamed of taping her mouth shut so she couldn't bark...but I never followed through with it, of course!
